You will see a form something like this:
See Screenshot

Enter a database name, this name can be anything but should represent the script it is associated with. For test purposes we will use 'mynewdat" as our database names. On the next step you will see a form similiar to this:
See Screenshot

Step #2
Enter a username and password for your database, make sure they are secure and don't give out these details to anybody, it could be a security risk. Again the user and pass are upto you but make sure you can remember them and don't confuse them with the database name.

Step #3
Step 3 will have a form similiar to this:
See Screenshot

Select the "All Privileges" option(unless you know specifically what this database needs.
The wizard gives us our data so far... we see our
User: datuser
Database: USER_mynewdat
Password **************

Please note "USER" represents your username to your cPanel... so if you login with the user "timdee" that will be the placeholder for your database. So your database would be timdee_mynewdat.

If you are still stumped or have setup the database and are getting an error of some sort, please submit a support ticket through our Support Ticket System ]]>

<![CDATA[How do I upload files to my website?]]> http://www.visiohosting.com/knowledgebase/article/2 ea36dfca922018438b5528cf971a3c10
To being using the online FTP please login to your cPanel by going to yoursite.com:2082 - if you are getting a 404 please try mysite.com/cpanel
Once in your cPanel under FILES you will see "Legacy File Manager"

Once into the Legacy File Manager select the option "Web Root (public_html)" and press "go". This will open the online FTP tool in a new window.
If for some reason your still not in the "public_html" folder please click the little icon next to the link "public_html"

You are now in your root, this means any files/folders you upload will be at yoursite.com/ i.e. if you upload mytool.php while under public_html it will upload to yoursite.com/mytool.php

Up at the top of the page near the menu you will see a link "Upload files", click it to upload a file.

If you upload a page entitled index.html it will be the home page for your site. i.e. anybody going to yoursite.com will get your index.html page. So this should be your first page to create.

If your uploading a script or folders we recommend you download a FTP program such as AceFTP, SmartFTP, WST_FTP or an alternative FTP tool. As always if you are still having trouble please goto http://www.visiohosting.com/support.html and submit a ticket. ]]>
